As the festival on the street winds down, the party on the Moon gears up!
Join us with live performances from OdESSA and Mana Mushroom and a DJ set from The Good Taste Selector before the bands start at 7:30pm
OdESSA:
OdESSA have a solid reputation as one of New Zealand’s most exciting live bands. Their addictive blend of Rock RnB, electrifying grooves and phenomenal energy are sure to grab your attention. They kick along the dusty centre-line where Rock ‘n’ Roll and R ‘n’ B first cross-mutated, with memorable songs played inside out – night after night.
Mana Mushroom:
Callum Worsley, Blain Fitzpatrick and Levon Mason work their magic with this psychedelic recipe of progressive rock/instrumental shoegaze. The live show can be described as a raw and emotive as their songs truly come alive on stage! The band released their debut record in 2023 which has been gaining traction in the prog/riff scenes. Prepare to lose yourself among the swirling guitars or perhaps catch a mighty wave on the bass swells, there is something for everyone here!
The Good Taste Selector:
Te Kupu (UHP/Tū Crucial Soundsystem) gives you a thick slice of Funk and some deep cuts from his stack of party tunes to tide you over from 6pm until the bands start. Te Kupu will be joined by DJ Kerb and special guests
