Florence is a 21 year old singer-songwriter based in Pōneke writing alternative lyrics-driven music. Classically trained on the piano, she is inspired musically and lyrically by artists such as Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, and Suzanne Vega. Her songs span topics such as love, heartbreak, coming back from the grave to defend your murderer in court, the first sibling to leave Narnia, citrus fruit, and liking your best friend a little bit too much. She has played in several venues around Wellington, and this year she is working on recording and releasing her music for the first time. Stay tuned and watch this space!
