Banana Jolie is a powerhouse pun queen and princess of peel. Seen ripping up stages across the Antipodean festival circuit with her energetic, witty physical circus-comedy. In her street show she will change your day, and potentially your life, through breakdance, jump rope, clowning, an dance-off from audience and the finale, ‘THE HANDSTAND WALK OF LIFE!’. This show has been performed to thunderous applause in Australia (Adelaide Fringe) and New Zealand (Wellington Buskers Festival, Courtenay Precinct).
BJ has presented full cabaret shows (Confessions of an Aerobics Instructor, Spiritual Banana, Let’s Talk About Peelings and short acts at events such as Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Splendour in the Grass (NSW), Falls Festival (NSW, VIC, TAS), Splore Festival (NZ), AUM (NZ), Noisily Festival (UK) NZ Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, The Town and The Village Festival since 2014.
