The Wilson St Stage is renowned for having a selection of the best upcoming and established bands performing in a beautiful outdoor setting during New Zealand’s biggest and most vibrant street festival. The performing artists are carefully curated by members of the Newtown music community to reflect the diverse, talented and thriving music scene that exists in Wellington and the rest of New Zealand. While widely known as the ‘rock’ stage, the Wilson St curators are dedicated to creating a varied lineup, showcasing different aspects of the rich alternative music landscape of New Zealand. Many of the underground bands that play the Wilson St stage will end up as household names in following years, so expect to see bands you’ve never heard of, some that might not be your cup of tea, and some that will blow your mind.

The Creeps Curb Side Stage is also situated in Wilson St, hosting acts from 3:10pm. We think ya’ll are gonna dig this dope line up of sick local bands. We all party here so if you want some party, come to Wilson.
