Alda Rezende is a celebrated Brazilian singer based in New Zealand. With her uncommon voice she is a veteran of New Zealand music scene. Alda has sang in many of New Zealand’s most important festivals and tours regularly in Australia and Brazil, where she has performed alongside legends such as Elza Soares and João Bosco.
For the Newtown Festival, Alda will deliver an intimate Bossa Nova concert, together with Wellington guitar legend Noel Clayton.
