Side Eye are a punk band from Pōneke who’ve been playing gigs around the rohe since late 2022. Ilja (drums) brings years of percussion training to his punk roots making him an absolute menace on the skins. Savannah (bass) has a percussion background and a passion for getting her bass to make the weirdest sounds possible. Dianne (guitar/vocal) gets to put her song-writing craft into this noisy three-piece wicked wing combo. Their music is stripped back, punchy and “heavier than you expect.”
