We are a multi cultural Kapa group that celebrates all our tamariki that has a passion for learning Māori performing arts through Kapa haka. We are very proud of the mahi our tamariki put into their practices especially opening a festival in their own community. We practice every Tuesday afternoon and add more when necessary. This event is something they always look forward to. We have tamariki who range from 5 years to 12 years who love performing and learning waiata and its history.
Our Tutors and Guitarist are Whaea Maraea, Whaea Venise and Danielle. We also want to acknowledge the support we get from all our other kaimahi; Whaea Susie, Rhys and Janet. We also appreciate our Tumuaki Nicki who advocates for our Kapa haka rōpū with pride.
Lastly, we are so fortunate to have such supporting parents and their whānau who make the commitment to bring our tamariki to weekend events and so on.
