Newtown Festival is the BEST! the dancing, the music, the kai, the sun, the crowds! It’s wonderful….AAAAAAND it’s also totally overwhelming at times. Need some time out? Come hang out at the Newtown Community Centre for:
– Cold water on tap
– All the herbal teas you can drink
– Puzzles & mindfulness colouring on offer (no enforced activities 
)
– All gender, accessible wharepaku
– A shady space to hang out / eat your lunch
– Kōrero and support if you need it
It’ll also be one of the last chances to hang out at the Community Centre before our yearlong renovations, starting in Paengawhāwhā/April, so we’ll have the designs for the renovated centre on display as well. Come join the Newtown Community Centre for some Time Out: recharge so you can get out into that amazing Festival again.
